What We Offer

$0.15 - $0.30 per word
if over 250 words
Interpretation
Consecutive or simultaneous
$25 - $45 per hour
Transcription
$2.50 - $4 per minute
Proofreading
& Editing
$30 - $40 per page
$25 per page if under 250 words
We offer a sliding scale in order to accommodate most budgets.
Work requiring a turnaround of 48 hours or less will be charged an additional 15%.
Who We Are
Our story
This ACTFL-certified mother-daughter team from San Juan, Puerto Rico offers literary, educational, and technical translations, as well as interpretation services, in Spanish and English.
Vero González
Vero González has a M.F.A. in Poetry from the Iowa Writer’s Workshop. She took up translation as a cure for writer’s block in 2003. She lives in Jamaica Plain, MA.
Margo de Torres
Margo de Torres has a B.S. in Linguistics from Georgetown University. She began translating in 1979, taking breaks along the way to run a successful distribution business, raise three children, and teach Spanish. She lives in Jamaica Plain, MA with her cat, Cleo.
